Permanent administrative personnel and office support staff of the University convened for the yearly conduct of Ugnayan Kapatiran, today, December 17, 2024 at the Paghi-UsA Hall.

Dr. May T. Delgado, Vice President for Administration and Finance on her welcome message gave recognition to the pioneers, the former VPAFs who started and sustained the annual activity: Dr. Ronilo A. Soriano and Engr. Nelly E. Mistio.

“University of Antique is soaring higher and it could reach greater heights if we compell it together. Everyone has his role to play, so let us do our tasks well… We are Kasubays in one UA colony”, she added.

The event started with talks about “Maintaining Good Camaraderie, and Professionalism in the Workplace”, “Time Management”, “Handling Difficult People”, and “Handling Conflicts and Customer Service”.

Ms. Rowena Diaz, guest speaker, a Global Training Specialist (Consultancy-basis) and Member of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas – Panay Chapter, inspired the participants and emphasized the soft skills that employees should possess and live by.

“You are not what happened to you. You are what you choose to become“, she further stated.

Following the informative series of talks, the event sponsored by the Confederation of Administrative Personnel of University of Antique (CAPUA) in collaboration with the Human Resource Unit (HRU) and Office of the Vice-President for Administration and Finance (VPAF) hosted a lively afternoon program featuring team-building exercises, fun games and prizes.

Ugnayan Kapatiran aims to create a positive and inclusive workplace, promoting teamwork, empathy, and mutual respect.
