UA opened its doors to families and students who needed shelter during the onslaught of Paeng. Through the collective efforts of the UA community and the faculty, spearheaded by Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., food, medicines, and clothing were collected and distributed to the evacuees. They also reached out to the neighboring municipality of Patnongon, specifically Igburi that was greatly affected by the severe storm./IAP
