Graduates from different batches and colleges of the then Antique School of Arts and Trades (ASAT) and Polytechnic State College of Antique (PSCA), now University of Antique (UA), convened for UA’s Grand Alumni Homecoming: a Prelude to Platinum Jubilee Celebration at the Main Campus, December 22.

The celebration commenced through a Caravan following the UA – Hamtic – San Pedro – Cubay – back to UA route with the participation of alumni from the Northern and Southern Towns of the province.

Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., on his inspirational message, shared that he believes that, at 70, the academe has become an institution in the Province of Antique.

“I hope (you feel) the sense of pride, and the sense of fulfillment that you are part of UA as our students, as alumni, as our present faculty and staff, or administrators, (as the) University of Antique is an institution at 70,” he further stated.

Giving time to catch up and look back, the Alumni also had a solidarity luncheon and get together by college. An array of exciting activities such as Basketball and Volleyball Friendship Games, Bingo Social, Campus Tour, Paindis-indis Puwak (videoke challenge), and Handuraw sa ASAT/PSCA/UA with the College Bands were also prepared for the alumni./IU
