Students of University of Antique (UA) together with St. Anthony’s College (SAC) and Antique National School (ANS) joined the Pait, Tam-is, kag Aslum: The Antiqueño Ingredients, Recipes, and Palate Forum, as part of the Hapag ng Pamana: Philippine Food Festival 2024, at the Old Capitol Building, San Jose de Buenavista, April 29, 2024.

On his speech, Arvin Manuel Villalon, Commissioner of the Subcommission on the Arts of NCCA, urged the participants to continue the Antiqueño culture through learning about local food.
“Food is an art form and it identifies who you are since what you eat is what you are,” he further stated.

Robert Villarcabral of the Lost Filipino Cookbook and Histolinarya Collective and John Sherwin Felix of Lokalpedia who served as guest speakers during the forum, discussed “The Story of Filipino Food on Social Media” and “What’s in your Basket?” respectively.

The Hapag ng Pamana: Philippine Food Fest 2024 is organized by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in partnership with the Antique Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office.
