UA seals Agreement with Thailand HEIs
University of Antique reaches new heights on its quest for internationalization as Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President, seals a five (5) year agreement through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kasetsart University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi at Bangkok Thailand on March 28 and 29 respectively.
Paving its way in the international arena, together with Dr. Crespo, the institution’s delegation composed of Prof. Jennelyn A. Omadio, International Affairs Office Director, Dr. May T. Delgado, Vice-President for Research, Extension, and Continuing Education Training Services, and Dr. Aldrex A. Barrientos, Associate Dean of College of Teacher Education and Director for Research of UA Tario Lim Memorial Campus, visited Thailand to set direction to the partnership for future collaboration.
According to Prof. Omadio, the University wants to benchmark and establish a strong collaboration not only in papers but also in terms of activity, mobility programs, sharing knowledge, and in terms of instructions and practices.
“Part of this engagement is to explore collaborations and partnerships in the area of Agriculture at Kasetsart University and explore the possibility for Engineering and Architecture programs at King Mongkut’s University,” she further stated.
Kasetsart University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi will be UA’s counterparts as it works towards offering the students with quality education and services of international standards./IAP
