UA hosts TCAMS Session 4
Eleven Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) all over Western Visayas convened at University of Antique for Technology Commercialization and Agribusiness Mentorship Series (TCAMS) Session 4 at Busali-an Hall, August 22-23.
The session four which was facilitated by Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program in Western Visayas and funded by Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) focused on Business Plan Writing Workshop for University-Developed Technologies.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President of UA, imparted that the real measure of success in the research endeavor is not on how many researches were completed, published, and cited but on the people and technology that the instution has.
“I hope that our session will lead to Bago, Angat, at Makabuluhang Buhay, especially the target sectors of the different product of research that we have in our respective universities which later on will be commercialized, and adapted by a community through extension activities that we have in our institutions,” Dr. Crespo further stated.
Dr. Debbie Jean V. Sabug, Director of Intellectual Property Management Office (IPMO) and Project Staff, RAISE IP-TBM (PCAARD) also welcomed the participants to the academe.
Essential knowledge needed for Business Plan making were imparted by Dr. Rosine Labado and Prof. French Dampog of Capiz State University (CapSU).
