UA conducts PRIME-HRM orientation
As a demonstration of its continued commitment to offer quality services to its stakeholders, University of Antique through the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) holds the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Orientation at Balay ni Juan, April 25.
According to Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President, being certified by Civil Service Commission as a PRIME- HRM institution is an assurance to the stakeholders that UA is delivering the services expected of it, as the men and women working in UA were hired and promoted based on meritocracy and excellence.
Dir. Andre L. Ladigohon, CPA, MPA, Director II of Civil Service Commission (CSC), Antique Field Office, served as Resource Speaker during the orientation that aims to impart essential information about PRIME-HRM and its levels and processes. He also provided relevant and practical inputs for the institution during the presentation of the results of Mock Assessment as the University works toward PRIME-HRM Maturity Level 2 accreditation.
In his lecture, Dir. Ladigohon stated that the University will be given the autonomy to act on its own and will have the authority to act on appointments once it is accredited by CSC.
“We are here to do our best and give our best to our stakeholders,” Dir. Ladigohon added.
In attendance during the activity were the Technical Working Groups for CSC PRIME-HRM Assessment of the University who will be engaged in the preparation of the necessary documents and steps related to the areas of Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP); Learning and Development (L&R); Performance Management (PM); and Rewards and Recognition (R&R)./IAP
