Twenty-nine interns, 24 from College of Technology (COT) and five (5) from College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) together with their parents convened at the UA e-Hub for the Pre-Deployment Orientation for Students who will be deployed at C&U Philippines Inc., February 8.

Prof. Shecky R. Villavert, Director for External Affairs, acknowledged the presence of the parents and extended her appreciation for their support to their children’s internship. She also reminded the students to remain committed and show their best during their internship.

“When you go to Batangas, you have to show and prove nga tuod gid man nga Antique’s pride kamo kag pride kamo ka UA tanan,” she further stated.

Prof. Jennelyn Omadio, Director for International Affairs, stated that their efforts to give better opportunities where students can get employed instantly after internship is for them to also help their families and their parents.

“I wish you well and congratulations… Don’t let this opportunity slide. Take this as one step for you in realizing your dreams and ambition in life,” she added.

Prof. Emma O. Feranil, Director for Career and Placement Unit, and Prof. Rowena S. Cabrillos, Director for Gender and Development Unit, together with Prof. Villavert, served as Resource Speakers and discussed Work Ethics, Coping with Different People in the Workplace and Coping with Homesickness, Safe Space in the Workplace, and Proper Grooming and Hygiene respectively.
