In celebration of the Philippine Bamboo Month, University of Antique (UA) actively took part in the Nationwide Simultaneous Bamboo Planting held at Brgy. Atabay, San Remigio, Antique on Monday, September 19.
The university Criminology Intern Officers led by UA Civil Security Services Office Director, Mr. Japhet Quiape joined the bamboo planting activity together with other government agencies such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), PENRO, DENR, Philippine Coast Guard, LGU-Sibalom, and CENRO-Belison. This aims to strengthen partnerships between agencies and barangays in providing sustainable bamboo supply.
