Graduation Rites carry on at UA Main

The Graduation Season in the UA system continues as the Batch 1: College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), Open Learning (OL) and College of Computer Studies (CCS) holds their graduation rites today, July 6, at UA Traditional Knowledge Center.

One thousand one hundred eighty (1,180) graduates from the four colleges of the Main Campus, marched together with their parents today to take a hold of their diploma.

Hon. Medardo G. De Lemos, Director, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Commencement Speaker raised the importance of social skills as the graduates aim for success.

Hon. Antonio Legarda, Representative of the Lone District of Antique, also graced the program and gave words of inspiration to the graduating class.

The graduation rites commenced with the Baccalaureate Mass and Hooding Ceremony where the graduating class was conferred with recognition and parents and guardians were honored./IAP
