The faculty members from the eight colleges and the Laboratory High School of University of Antique convened at Paghi-UsA Hall for the last two sessions of SIMS: Academic Information Management System (AIMS) Training focusing on the Learning Management System (LMS) Module and Faculty Module, from March 11-12, 2025.
According to Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, Vice-President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), the last set of AIMS training aims to equip the faculty members with necessary knowledge and skills to ensure a smooth, efficient, and organize academic experience for all students, faculty, and administrators.
“By integrating technology into our academic system, we aim to provide a more accessible, transparent, and user-friendly platform for managing academic information,” VP Viesca added.
The academe is expecting to adapt the new AIMS by the first semester of the Academic Year 2025-2026 to streamline various academic services from enrollment, evaluation, grade monitoring, and students’ records management.
