With the aim to enhance understanding and awareness in handling and use of personal data, the Heads of Office of the University of Antique System gather for a training-seminar on Data Privacy with the title, “Awareness and Information Dissemination for the Executive Committee Regarding Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its IRR” at UA E-hub today, December 16.

The activity invited a pool of experts from the Public Attorney’s Office, namely Atty. Chanika Anja B. Fullon, Atty. Lesly Ann J. Cataluña – Jamile, and Atty. LV Ji T. Escatin, to discuss the topics relevant to the training-seminar.

The activity further aims to familiarize with the inventory of documents that contain sensitive information and the authorized personnel to manage them, and to identify processes and protocols in managing privacy-related data. /IAP
