CPS Conducts Trainings for Graduating Students
To help graduating students understand their roles and responsibilities in the workplace, the Career and Placement Services Office (CPS) of the University conducted a Labor Education for Graduating Students (LEGS) and Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) at UA Covered Court last January 27.
Guided by the goal of producing globally competent graduates, a pool of experts were also invited to conduct talks on career training on topics such as Test Taking Skill and Acing the Job Interview that are needed for students’ personal and professional development.
In an interview with Prof. Emma O. Feranil, Career and Placement Services Director, she stated that the activity will prepare students to the world of work through enlightening them on how to apply for work locally and overseas.
“Students will also be oriented with the practicum procedure, policies, and requirement dynamics in the workplace,” she added.
The trainings conducted were prerequisite for students’ internship./IAP
