CHED conducts monitoring of IDIG Project at UA
Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central and Regional Office VI conducts an on-site monitoring and evaluation of the Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) Project titled “Upgrading of Materials Testing and Powerplant Laboratory” at Balay ni Juan, March 14.
Dr. Mary Sylvette T. Gunigundo, Director IV, Office of Planning, Research, and Knowledge Management of CHED Central Office, stated how the project will benefit the students saying, “I’m pretty sure that the equipment here will also help your students be more attuned with the present or state of the art equipment.”
The project aims to make faculty and students become more proficient in understanding the properties of different materials used in the construction and be aware of actual processes in the steam thermal plant.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President also extended his gratitude to CHED and raised the University’s commitment to use the project and make them available for students.
College of Engineering and Architecture is the beneficiary of the said project which was implemented on March 22, 2022./IAP
