True to its mission of “Transforming Lives, Building Communities”, University of Antique instigate ‘UA for Antique – Bulig Drive’, a relief initiative for the victims of typhoon Paeng, during the opening of hUgyAw 2022, November 7.

Highlighting the essence of working and giving together, Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President, led the faculty and students in gathering goods and monetary donations for Antiqueños affected by the recent typhoon.

“Mag-UmpisA sa SARA. One cloth, one noodle, one canned good or one peso. With the kasUbAys working and giving together, this ONE will turn into thousands of relief goods for our kasimanwas in need”, Dr. Crespo on his Facebook post.

Sibalom municipal officials and National Movement of Young Legislators – Anini-y Chapter were also present to support the said initiative.

Accumulated goods and donations will be distributed to the municipality of Patnongon, one of the most affected towns, as a celebration of the University’s Conversion Day on November 10./IAP
