The Kasubay community hosted a send off ceremony for 대구대학교(Daegu University) Interns after they successfully completed their Pre-Service Training at University of Antique and its partner institutions today, February 28, 2025.

Lee Eunseo “Dina”, Lee Junseok “Leo”, and Kim Somin “Somin” together with Lee Jieun “Jane”, and Jung Miyeong “Julie” who had to make an early departure, were conferred with their Certificates of Completion after completing their required internship hours.

Dr. Grace C. Pastolero, Dean of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) extended her thanks and congratulated the interns stating that despite the challenges brought by differences of culture and weather, and even differences in the curriculum, they still managed to finish their internship successfully.

“You, DU interns (second batch), will have a special place in our hearts. Thank you for choosing the University of Antique and the College of Teacher Education in particular to be part of your education journey, she further stated.”

Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, Vice President for Academic Affairs, underscored the internship’s purpose, highlighting the institution’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its dedication to cultivating future educators and leaders, as she also expressed her hope that this batch of interns has embodied this vision.

Teacher consultant, supervising teachers, facilitating colleges and units, recipient schools, red antbassadors, and UA-DU’s partners – UA-Laboratory High School, Barley Learning Center of Antique, Inc., and Sibalom Central Elementary School, were also recognized during the program.
