The University of Antique community deeply mourns the passing of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐨 𝐄. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚, its longest-serving President, (1979 – 2005) whose visionary leadership and dedication laid the foundation for UA’s success.

Dr. Gallega served as School Superintendent of the Antique School of Arts and Trades (ASAT) from 1979 – 1981 and paved the way for the conversion of ASAT to Polytechnic State College of Antique (PSCA). He then served as OIC Superintendent of PSCA from 1982 – 1985 until he became the President from 1985- 2005.

His tireless dedication and passion for service profoundly impacted countless lives, shaping University of Antique into the esteemed institution it is today.

His legacy is forever etched in the history of UA.
