Forming part of the 18-day campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (EVAWC), and Women’s Health, the University of Antique (UA) through the Gender and Development Office (GAD) conducted a Symposium for Contract of Service (COS) faculty and staff, today, December 10, 2024, at the New AVR.

The said symposium tackled topics about Responsible Dating, and Teenage Pregnancy and Women’s Reproductive Health with Ms. Darlene Genizera-Pajarito, Guidance Counselor Designate, as the first speaker, and EVAWC (RA 9710 and RA 11313) with Atty. Elizabeth Abasquez-Felasol, Atty. IV of the Legal Unit of the university as the second speaker.

UA is one of the prime movers in upholding women’s rights and advocating a gender-biased-free community which profoundly translates to its programs and activities.
