Our very own Team Demetus is indeed ready to take their startup named “SunLoom RiceDry+” to the next level as they are one of the Top 10 teams who will be advancing to the Philippine Startup Challenge – Regional Pitching Competition on October 21, 2024

Anna Mae V. Serdeña, Project Manager, Christian Bernard Sio, Research and Development Engineer, and Ghyzyl Mae Martinez, Marketing Specialist, together with their mentor, Engr. Sammy V. Militante, successfully surpassed the 1st level and 2nd level screenings that initially started with 74 entries from 27 participating schools.

Guiding the students together with Engr. Militante are Engr. Gerard James Paglingayen and Engr. Genesis Canja. Team Demetus is composed of five student members with John Carlo Udani and Dave C. Vegafria, however the two no longer participated due to the required limit of only three members per team.
