Pre-identified beneficiaries from seven (7) barangays of the Municipality of Sibalom and students of the University of Antique (UA) received medical and dental assistance through the Medical-Dental Mission and Bloodletting Activity organized by the Civil Service Commission Antique Field Office in collaboration with the University of Antique (UA) and the Council of Human Resource Management Practitioners in Antique today, September 26, 2024 at the Tiripunan Hall.
One hundred seventy-six (176) students from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) and College of Maritime Studies (CMS), faculty of UA, and from other agencies will also donate bags of life-saving blood for those in need.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, on his message extended his gratefulness to the students, donors, volunteers, to the CSC, and other participating agencies as this activity is also an opportunity by which UA can fulfill its mission to transform lives and build communities.
“…and just seeing the different officers and members of the different medical society, health offices, Red Cross, I could say that indeed by lending a hand, we can save lives,” Dr. Crespo further stated.
The activity is also made possible in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Antique, Antique Medical Society, PGO Antique Provincial Health Office, MGO Sibalom Municipal Health Office, and University Health and Dental Services of UA Main Campus and Hamtic Campus.
The beneficiaries are from Barangay Alangan, Bari, Cubay Napultan, Catungan 1st, Pangpang, Rombang, and Bongsod.
