Congratulations, University of Antique, for obtaining a 92% compliance rating on the Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) Spot Check conducted by the Department of Energy (DOE) – Visayas Field Office, yesterday, September 11, 2024.

GEMP is a government-wide program aimed at reducing monthly consumption of electricity and fuel through energy efficiency and conservation measures, including the adoption of renewable energy systems as an alternative source of electricity.

We commend the efforts of the General Services Unit (GSU) headed by Dir. Ronald G. Vedija, and Project Management Unit (PMU) headed by Engr. Vincent Arthur L. Abellon for ensuring that the academe adheres to the guidelines set by the DOE.
