Raise your flag!

As the annual observance of the National Flag Days begins today, let us take a moment to honor the heroism of our Philippine Revolutionary Forces that paved the way to our freedom from the Spanish Army during the Battle of Alapan that was fought on May 28, 1898.

We and the entire Filipino nation are enjoined to display our Philippine National Flag as a symbol of independence and unity.

As this celebration concludes on June 12, the Philippine Independence Day, together, let us continue bringing pride to our country by raising our flag higher to the world.
