The Quality Management Unit of the University organized a Revisiting International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Documentation Orientation Seminar for Unit Heads at Busalian Hall, April 30.

According to Dr. Jennel B. Orantes, Quality Management Representative, the purpose of the seminar is to revisit the documentation of ISO related documents and to know updates that will help the institution in continuously providing quality service to its clientele.

Engr. Nelly E. Mistio, Vice-president for Administration and Finance (VPAF), on her message emphasized the importance of the orientation to improve the quality management system and the processes within the University. This is to ensure that each unit performs its function because the whole UA is interrelated, which means that if one-unit malfunctions, the entire system will be affected.

“When we meet our clients’ requirements, we provide quality service,” she stated.

Dr. Orantes together with Engr. Mark Alester A. Lazo, Planning Officer III and IQA -Lead Auditor, and Mrs. Joyce L. Grafane, MBA, Records Officer III, served as Resource Speakers, on the different ISO related topics.
