Sealing a collaboration with another Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the country, University of Antique through Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., inks a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC), represented by Br. Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C., HCDC President, on a virtual MOU signing today, February 28.

Dr. Crespo expressed that UA is humbled that HCDC agreed to the academe’s invite to be its partner particularly in the many activities concerning the Maritime Program of the two partner institutions.

“UA is the only State University in Region VI which was allowed to offer the Maritime Program and, with this mandate, we have to ensure that our capacity to deliver instruction is at par with the standards expected of the CHED and the Marina, and I know that our program could learn many things from your program,” Dr. Crespo further stated.

Br. Deloria in his message also extended his gratefulness to UA for considering HCDC as its partner in its educational mission, and shared his hope for the success of the two institutions’ collaboration.

“We need to see our resources; we need to support each other; We need to synergize so that together we shall make things that would benefit our school community and the society as a whole,” he further stated.

Also present during the MOU signing are Dr. Teresa P. Fabiana, VP for Academic Affairs of HCDC, Dr. Jelyn O. Alentajan, VP for Academic Affairs of UA, Ms. Sheryl Urdaneta, HCDC Head of Linkages, Ms. Hazel Gregory-Arozado of HCDC, Mrs. Jennelyn Omadio, Director of International Affairs, Ms. Shecky Mae R. Villavert, Director for External Affairs, Capt. Geronimo Dolor, Dean of College of Maritime Studies, and Capt. Andro Frederick Telesforo, CMS Faculty.
