As testament to the institution’s commitment to continual development and excellence, the Quality Management Unit of the University organized a two-day International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Seminar Workshop for New Unit Heads at Busalian Hall on February 27-28.

Engr. Mark Alester A. Lazo, Planning Officer III and IQA-Lead Auditor, Mrs. Joyce L. Grafane, MBA, Records Officer III, and Dr. Jennel Orantes, Quality Management Representative served as keynote speakers during the workshop that featured discussions on topics such as: QMS Manual Procedures, Work Instruction, Master Lists of Records, Forms, and References, Internal and External Communication, Document Control, Quality Records, Quality Objectives and Plans, Quality Objective Monitoring, Corrective Action Report, and Root-Cause Analysis.

The activity is anchored on the academe’s vision to attain the ISO 21001: 2018 certification which is the international standard set for Educational Organization like UA.
