University of Antique Student Leaders and Advisers together with Prof. Wilma Fe S. Vego, Director of Student Organization and Activities Unit, represented University of Antique in the 45th YMCA National Congress of College Students and 25th YMCA National Campus Club Advisers’ Seminar–Workshop at Senior Mess, Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City from November 30 to December 3.

Embodying the theme “Bayanihan: Young People of Today, Champions of Change!”, 428 delegates from 38 delegations from all over the Philippines convened for the activity that aims to empower young people and communities worldwide through talks and activities that will raise awareness of the issues that affect the society and its people.

Moreover, UA Student Government President Leeslie I. Alvañiz was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Visayas and was awarded as one of the Outstanding Delegates. The delegation was also composed of UA Student Government Senators together with College Governors./IU
