UA honors 304 Students and Orgs on University Pasidungug
Celebrating students’ commitment to excellence, University of Antique (UA) confers award to 304 Students and Organizations during the University Pasidungug at UA Traditional Knowledge Center, July 4.
Among the 304 Awardees, 5 are special institutional awardees, 11 are college specific awardees, 3 are professional organization awardees, 108 are student development awardees, and 177 are Academic Awardees which includes 10 Magna Cum Laude and 152 Cum Laude. At the forefront is April Rose Moscoso, a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English student, who is set to graduate as Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Erwin F. Onanad, First Alumni Physician of Antique School of Arts and Trades (ASAT now UA), Retired Provincial Health Official, and Guest Speaker during the Pasidungug fondly looked back to his memories at ASAT as he left a spark of inspiration to the honorees.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President, stated that the Pasidungug is the University’s way of honoring the efforts that led the honorees to come up with what they have right now.
“Duru gid nga salamat kaninyo kag duro gid nga salamat sa pagsarig sa University of Antique for sending your sons and daughter to the University,” Dr. Crespo stated addressing the parents.
The Pasidungug Celebration marks the beginning of the commencement week of the University which will start tomorrow at UA Hamtic Campus./IAP
