COT conducts training workshop on Coping with the Challenges of Apprenticeship

The College of Technology (COT) conducts a Training Workshop on Coping with the Challenges of Apprenticeship for third year COT students at UA Traditional Knowledge Center (Covered Gym), May 12.

The activity, with the theme “The Importance of Good Preparation Prior to Apprenticeship Deployment”, which was participated by students with INDTHC-9 (Shop Personnel Management supervision and Apprenticeship Training) course, aims to prepare the participants for their on-the-job training which is set forth to happen next school year.

According to Professor Shecky Mae R. Villavert, Subject Professor (INDTHC-9), the seminar is set to teach students on how to undergo 600 time OJT inside and outside the campus as well as to help them prepare for a mock interview that will happen on June 9.

The internship for COT often includes deploying students to different companies inside and outside the Province of Antique./IAP
