UA signs partnership with WYA; organizes Lead Talk

University of Antique through Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President, signs partnership with World Youth Alliance represented by Mr. Lord Leomer B. Pomperada, World Youth Alliance Executive Director during the Lead Talk held at Pag-hiUsA Hall, April 27.

Dr. Crespo expressed his gratitude to Mr. Pomperada saying “Thank you very much for bringing the World Youth Alliance to University of Antique and to the partner schools in this collaboration.”

The World Youth Alliance is composed of young men and women who are committed to building free and just societies through a culture of life, in cooperation with United Nations and European Union.

Moreover, UA through the University of Antique Student Government (UASG) holds a Lead Talk dubbed as “Resilience and Adaptability to Change: The New Essence of Leadership in Today’s Time.”

According to Dr. Crespo, “A true leader does not compete with anyone but try to compete with himself and promise himself that every day he will do better than what he accomplished yesterday.”

The Lead Talk that aims to discuss WYA including its objectives and qualifications, and equip the participants with knowledge on how to become more resilient and adaptive to change, was participated by Supreme Pupil Government of Sibalom Central Elementary School and LSD Child Study Center together with student leaders from UA Main Campus and Hamtic Campus./IAP
