CHED MARINA Team visits UA

Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) assessment team visits UA for the verification of the documents for compliance of College of Maritime Studies (CMS), April 11-14.

The visit also aims to improve the system through the inputs and recommendations of the members of the assessment team.

Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr, University President, commits to make the Maritime Program one of the best programs offered by the University saying, “being the only Maritime program na free in the whole Region VI, it is our duty and obligation to ensure that we remain relevant, that we remain a quality maritime institution.”

Capt. Enrico O. Santos, Lead Evaluator of CHED Marina Team, challenged the UA CMS to go on and always be updated for the improvement of the whole program.

Together with Capt. Santos, the members who composed the CHED MARINA Team were Engr. Junnard C. Hababag, Engine Technical Evaluator, Capt. Armando A.
