CCS-ACM conducts Digital Illustration Workshop
With the aim to produce students who are skilled in digital animation and illustration, the College of Computer Studies through Association for Computing Machinery conducts a Digital Illustration Workshop at e-Hub, March 25-26.
The activity dubbed as “Digital Illustration 101,” served as a venue for Bachelor of Science in Computer Science students to acquire basic knowledge in Digital Animation and Digital Illustration, and explore the basics of sketching from scratch.
Mr. Christian Arry Delos Santos, University alumnus and Resource Speaker for the said activity, also shared how his freelance work as an illustrator assisted him financially when he was still a student and he wished that, through the training, he could help the participants saying, “I love what I have learned in my art journey and I hope that this training can also help you like how it helped me.”
The participants also explored the use of different tools such as WACOM devices, SAI Drawing Tool, and Adobe Animate, and individually made a short animation to cap the activity./IAP
