Celebrating its 15th year as a university, the University of Antique system officially opens its Charter Week celebration dubbed as hUgyAw 2024 Culture and the Arts Festival through the Sadsad Hugyaw Foot Parade and Hugyaw Creative Demonstration Competition, at the University Oval today, November 8.

Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr. on his message, stated that the academe has come a long way as he acknowledged the people who prepared the university – the graduates, retirees, former administrators, presidents, and faculty whose efforts paved the way for UA to be what it is today.

“Be proud of UA, be proud that you are a Kasubay,” Dr. Crespo further stated as he put emphasis on role of students in the success of the academe in transforming lives and building communities.

The candidates who compete for the Mr. & Ms. UA title were also introduced during the program.
