University of Antique (UA) presented its accomplishments, ongoing projects, and future targets to its stakeholders during a Consultation with Civil Society Organizations at Busalian Hall today, February 10, 2025.

Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, highlighted the projects that were accomplished since he assumed office in January 2018 to look back and provide context to what University of Antique has achieved.

“Personally, as the President of the University of Antique that carries the burden of the needs of students, of the faculty, and of the alumni, my heart is always thankful for any kind of support that the University of Antique would be receiving,” he further stated, emphasizing that UA also continues to prosper through the help of the agencies and stakeholders who continuously support the academe.

Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, VP for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Jelyn O. Alentajan, VP for Research, Extension, and Innovation also presented the Higher and Advance Education Programs and Research and Technical Advisory Extension Programs, respectively. Dr. May T. Delgado, VP for Administration and Finance laid out the academe’s Financial Report or Budget Utilization.

UA looks forward to its future projects and accomplishments as Engr. Mark Alester A. Lazo, Planning Officer III, presented the ongoing projects and the proposed projects for 2026 for the whole UA system.

Stakeholders, who are representatives from the different sectors of the university such as the students, parents, faculty, and alumni, together with the representatives from Local Government Unit of Sibalom, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Labor and Employment, Antique Electric Cooperative, Boarding House Owners Association, Barangay Officials from District I and Brgy. Bari, were given the opportunity to raise their queries and lobby their recommendations through an open forum.
