To strengthen the University of Antique’s security posture, the Data Privacy Unit (DPU) conducted a Data Breach Management Drill at Balay ni Juan, December 11, 2024.

According to Mr. Juancho F. Jamile, Data Protection Officer, the drill also aims to equip the selected participants from the different units within the academe with necessary knowledge, skills, and procedures to effectively respond to data breaches, reduce the risk of future breaches, and to refine the organizations incident response.

The Data Management Drill is also part of UA’s continuous effort to protect and uphold the fundamental human rights of privacy entrusted by its stakeholders.
