3 Programs under COT undergo Monitoring and Evaluation by CHED
Three programs under the College of Technology (COT) undergo monitoring and evaluation by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQuAT) at Balay ni Juan, April 20-21.
Dr. Rene Celda, Dean of College of Technology of Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) serves as CHED Evaluator of the programs namely, Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Food Service Technology, Drafting Technology, and Fashion Design and Apparel Technology.
According to Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President, the evaluation and monitoring will serve as venue for improvement and to know if how College of Technology will become more effective in the University.
“This is where we have to see the growth that we have to do more in the University. Accreditation, RQuAT visit, is another area where we could grow the fastest,” Dr. Crespo further stated.
The monitoring and evaluation is also a way of working towards having a Certificate of Program Compliance on the programs offered in the University./IAP
