The College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) emerged victorious on this year’s UA Statistics Quiz Bee as Kenyon Jason Alavera was named as champion in the competition which was held at Busalian Hall today, September 30, 2024.

Representatives of the different colleges in the university faced off in the statistical competition that was organized by the UA Math Faculty and Math Club. This activity is part of the academe’s celebration of the 35th National Statistics Month that is held in the month of October every year.

Moreover, Hannah Grace Lucnagan and Princess Annie Lou Pelingon, both representing the UA Laboratory High School (LHS), claimed the first runner-up and second runner-up.

Alavera together with Mae Franky Huelar from College of Arts and Sciences and Precious Lyra Ballenas from College of Computer Studies will represent UA in the Provincial Collegiate Statistics Quiz.
