As an institution that explores the beauty of collaboration, even beyond borders and despite the diversity, University of Antique is honored to welcome Ms. Lotus Postrado, Country Director Philippines, British Council, as Keynote Speaker for the 73rd Commencement Exercises of the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Accountancy, and College of Criminal Justice Education.

Ms. Lotus Postrado is the first Filipina Country Director of the British Council in the Philippines. She is an education specialist, working extensively in and with government, regional, international, and cultural relations organizations. Prior to her current leadership role, she led the British Council’s Education work, pioneering UK-Philippines collaborations on Transnational Education Programme through its partnership with the Commission on Higher Education. Her efforts broke new ground for the higher education sector in the country. She also led the Program Development and Evaluation Division, and International Cooperation Office, at the Department of Education in the Philippines, before working in Bangkok as Programme Officer at the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Secretariat.
