The Information Communications and Technology Unit (ICTU) conducts a series of activities to orient and train end-users from various departments about the processes and functionalities of the School Information Management System (SIMS), from September 24- 27, 2024.

The series of activities gathered the ICTU Team, Registrar, Student Affairs and Services Unit, College SIMS Coordinator, Guidance Staff, Human Resource Team, Librarians, Library Staff, Faculty, and Students to clarify the system use, understand their roles and responsibilities, and train on how to use the system’s key features through hands-on exercises to ensure a smooth transition to the SIMS platform.

After the training, ICTU will also conduct a dry-run and testing that will allow users to simulate real scenarios, spot issues, and provide feedback to ensure a fully functional and ready for actual use system.

SIMS, which is a platform that optimizes administrative tasks, internal processes, and operations including Student Information Management System, Human Resources Information System, Library Information System, and Learning Management System, is one of the priority initiatives of Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., and is expected to be used on the second semester of this school year.
