The College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), and College of Industrial Technology (CIT), underwent an Online Accreditation Survey Visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. from September 2 – 4, 2024.
CBA’s Bachelor of Science in Cooperative Management, CEA’s Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology under the CIT were subjected to accreditation to assure the quality and to assist in the improvement of the programs and the academe as a whole.
During the closing program held via Zoom, Prof. Nestor Competente, AACCUP Accreditors’ Team Leader left a reminder to the colleges to stay focused and continue the pursuit of quality and excellence.
“Always engage, get involved, and get going. Do everything with quality and excellence because certainly and definitely your efforts and hard work will be rewarded a hundred-fold,” he further stated.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, also assured the accreditors that their inputs will be taken by heart and pursued by the different programs in the name of quality, in the name of AACCUP, and in the name of the most important people in the University of Antique – the students.
The report of the accreditors will be reviewed, validated, and approved by the AACCUP and the National Record of Quality Assurance Agency’s Board of Director and will be forwarded to the university as a guide for continual improvement.
