Congratulations to Team University of Antique for placing 3rd in the first ever AI Hackathon in Western Visayas, held in celebration of the Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week at University of Antique, August 22-24, 2024.

The UA Team which is composed of Anna Mae V. Serdeña, Ghyzyl Mae D. Martinez, Christian Bernard P. Sio, John Carlo M. Udani, and Dave C. Vegafria, claimed the spot with their “PCA-Based Anomaly Detection & Isolation Forest Algorithm for Hydrological Data: Enhancing Water Level Accuracy through AI” Project which was also formulated through the help of their mentor, Dr. Sammy Militante.
