Providing opportunity for younger generation to thrive in a multicultural environment through cultural exchange, Pastor Chankyun Park of the Mindlele Church, South Korea together with Dr. Jeongho “Daniel” Cha, Vice Dean of the College of Education, Daegu University and member of the Mindlele Church, graced University of Antique for a Cultural Visit today, August 13, 2024.

During the welcome ceremony held at Busalian Hall, Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, expressed his gratefulness to Pastor Park and Dr. Cha for taking interest in bringing the students to the Philippines to see and experience how life is like here as he looks forward to welcoming the youth from Mindlele Church for a two-week engagement in the months to come.

“Whatever the plan is, I know that it is for the best interest of our kids, that is also for the best interest of our students in the Laboratory High School because they come to engage with Korean students of their age,” Dr. Crespo added.

Dr. Monalie C. Saylo, Laboratory High School (LHS) Principal together with the faculty and students of LHS welcomed the guests before they proceeded with the Campus Tour. They will also have an Artisans Community Tour to the Gemstone, Bamboo, and Pottery Production Centers.
