The 29TH Annual National Conference of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACUP) honored Top Performing SUC’s.
The event held last February 17-19, 2016 at the Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila brought honor to the University of Antique.
Representing the university, Dr. Victor E. Navarra and Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr, together with QuAA director, Dr. Lilian J. Farparan and campus directors, Mr. Marvin C. Casalan and Dr. May T. Delgado felt utmost pride as UA was included in the list of Top Performing SUC’s with the Most Number of Accredited Programs (Level I-IV). The announcement came as a surprise because the awardees were only revealed on the second day, Feb. 18. An issue of The Philippine Daily Inquirer released on the same day published a page of the AACUP Annual Conference and its awardees.
“We were really surprised and also inspired by the announcement because it makes us reflect on this year’s theme for our Foundation Day and Commencement Exercises, UA: Strongly Anchored on Quality Assurance” said Dr. Farparan.
“It is an affirmation that we are on the right track towards quality assurance and it also conveys a message that we are offering quality education”, Dr. Crespo, VP for Academic Affairs also commented.
