Firemen demonstrate the actual process of putting-out fire

As part of the university safety and security plan, an Earthquake and Fire Mock Drill/Simulation was conducted on March 4 at 3:30 PM at the University of Antique Main Campus. Prior to the activity, guidelines and procedure in the conduct of the drill were given to the heads of office and faculty members to be disseminated to the students and other participants. “The main objective of the activity is to measure or to know how prepared the university is in case this disasters occur”, training officer Marshan Tahum said. The activity was spearheaded by the University of Antique Civil Security Services led by Prof. Pablo S. Garcia in partnership with  Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) Sibalom. Furthermore, the activity was cooperated by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Sibalom, Department of Interior and Local Government,  Bureau of Fire Protection (DILG-BFP) Sibalom Station, ROTC Volunteer Emergency Rescue (ROVER) ,University of Antique Emergency Response Group (UAERG) ,UA students, faculty and staff.
